Ahead of the 2019:20 Season, join the GSA Choir for an open rehearsal to sing Maurice Duruflé’s “Quatre Motets sur des thèmes grégoriens”, works containing some of the best-loved choral music of the last century.
Work with the ensemble’s Musical Director, Jamie Sansbury, and experience the thrill of singing with one of Glasgow’s largest choirs: formed in 2012 the choir now has over 110 singers.
Singers do not have to be a student of the School, nor do they have to be affiliated with it in order to join the choir.
This rehearsal is open to singers of all abilities and there is no requirement to be able to read music, nor to book in advance. The event will be followed by an informal reception so that attendees can meet existing members of the choir and ask any questions they may have. Please bring a pencil with you, and you might find a bottle of water useful.
