15th Anniversary Commission

To celebrate the GSA Choir’s 15th anniversary in 2027, we are embarking on our largest single commission yet: a 30-minute work – set in four movements – for choir and string orchestra.

The work will be written by composer, Jay Capperauld, and poet, Niall Campbell, and will explore the four seasons; Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer.

The choir is launching an ambitious Crowdfunder to raise £15,000 towards the cost of the anniversary commission. These funds will help cover the remaining artistic fees (of which the ensemble has already raised more than 60%) and the cost of the string orchestra for the world premiere performance in 2027.
